I'm running Syncrhonet and I put Usurper on the list of external programs.
It works fine, but the first player each day triggers the daily maintenance of the game, such as NPC activity. This maintenance is suppose to show to the user, but it doesn't. See the attached screenshot, that's how it looks serverside.
To the user, it appears as the system hung on execution of the BBS door, it just sits there like a goon after adding a line break to the external programs menu. When the maintenance is done, and if the user waits for it, the Ursurper logotype shows. However, the game walks straight onto the main menu, which does not show to the user though it shows to the user. Any commands typed from the user's telnet console makes the game respond and show a new screen accordingly, but only on the server, not to the user.
When I quit Usurper, the screen gets updated with the user console again. Then the user can launch the game again and it works just fine, as it should, showing everything to the user.
This message was cross-mailed to SynchroNet creator Rob.
Looking forward to your response. Thank you.
Usurper, game for Local Play, BBS, Intranet or Internet
