Thanks for the Heads Up. From what I understand the Usurper Forum is physically located in Stockholm,
Not on Geocities or yahoo. But the Official Usurper
webpage is located on Geocities. I'll forward a message to Jakob
My Usuper information pages were orginially located on geocities as well.
The only thing I have left there is a single page with links to my current usurper website of
http://www.knaper.com/usrp
which is a hosted site that I pay for yearly.

Just as an update, I recieved messages from Jakob today. He is aware of the changes
to Geocities and thanks you. He has made arrangements for a mirror site for the Official
Usurper Website. Also, as I speculated, the Forum shouldn't be affected either.

I'm certain one of us will, as soon as they are established.
my url of
http://www.usurper.info currently points to my hosted website of
http://www.knaper.com/usrp/ui_index.html
As we get further url's I'll post them on a sticky here in the forum, unless
Jakob beats me to it.

hi,
Thanks for help guys.
Justin F running shackbbs was kind and offered a site for the Usurper web-site at:
http://usurper.shackbbs.com/
So, I have copied the geocities site to Justin who have set it up at the above address. Since I don't plan to keep a Usurper web-site up anymore the shackbbs will the main site until further notice.
And Lenny also has got the source code for Usurper to test-compile. Since I got my lazy butt off the couch and made the final preparations for the 0.20e version + source code.
regards,
Jakob

Hi Jeff. Thanks so much! Geocities is closing at October 26 (at least that is what their web-site says.) I really appreciate if you would make a post in the ads echo.
As far as the source code + new version goes... Mmm good. At least for me with a new install (unzip, run editor.exe => reset game => usurper /local). Worked for me I think Lenny ran into some problems though. Correct me if I am wrong. The source code, well only Lenny can tell if he could compile or not.
regards,
Jakob

I don't want to make up ads for anybody (being I have to think and work on mine and proof reading a few times)

ok
I got the source last night and have compiled about a dozen modules. But, I will have to sort out some problems on a
number of others. It has to do with compile time dependencies. Which came first, the egg or the chicken. As I have
other work as well, time ?? I'm not ready to say, as I've reviiewed less than 10% of the code. When I do, I'll let everyone know.

Retried install. Was able to update a v0.20d Classic to 0.20e Classic successfully. Able fresh install 0.20e New and able to run in local mode for both.
